Welcome

Millcreek-Richland Joint Authority (MRJA), a local municipality authority, operates wastewater conveyance lines in the Newmanstown and Richland areas of Lebanon County, Pennsylvania. The system connects and discharges to the Myerstown Wastewater Treatment Plant. Since its completion in October 1979, the MRJA has served the local population.

Today, the MRJA has 1,610 connections to the Authority’s wastewater system for an estimated 3,800 residents. The Authority has approximately 17 miles of wastewater lines within its service area, 4 to 12 inches in diameter, and five wastewater pumping stations. Collected wastewater is finally transported via an 8-inch force main to the Myerstown Wastewater Treatment Plant.
